Pepe Romero and Eugenia Diaz are the creators behind Modern House Cabin—a project that blends architecture, design, and storytelling into a living experiment in slow, intentional living.

Their journey began in Spain and later unfolded in Los Angeles, where both built successful careers. Pepe worked in high-end residential architecture, developing a deep understanding of design and construction, while Eugenia transitioned from medicine into the world of design and founded her own fashion brand. From the outside, everything was working—but internally, something felt off. The pace, the pressure, and the distance from nature led them to question what they actually wanted their lives to look like.

In 2019, they chose to step away.

They built a campervan with their own hands and spent months traveling across Europe. That experience—living with less, moving slowly, and creating things themselves—became a turning point. It wasn’t just a trip; it was the beginning of a complete shift in mindset.
